Public notice is hereby given that the PORT of Everett has issued a Request for Bids for the above-named project, with sealed bids due no later than the date and time given above.

This commercial construction project will continue the Port’s investment into the Fisherman’s Harbor District of the Waterfront Place Central redevelopment.  The project will take place on two different sites that include building two new structures for commercial and public use.  These project elements include, but are not limited to the following:

  • A8 Restaurant Building and Esplanade Wall: Construct a new restaurant building, approximately 6,000 square feet in size, and constructed to a “gray shell” finish.  Utility connections extended to the building, metal and wood siding, and interior walls to be unfinished and without a concrete slab for flooring.  Tenant improvement work will be conducted by two future tenants after this Contract is complete. Site improvements around the building include a concrete courtyard/eating space, two-way outdoor fireplace, landscaping, new sidewalk, and lighting.  Additionally, a new concrete wall will be constructed running north-south along the east side of the current Fisherman’s Harbor esplanade for over 500 feet.  This concrete wall provides sitting benches and landscaping and serves as a separation point between the restaurant outdoor dining and pedestrians using the Port’s public trail system.
  • A17 Restroom/Tenant Building and Site Improvements: Located west of Hotel Indigo, the A17 Building will be a combination of restroom services for marina slip holders and pedestrians, and office space for boating services tenants. Similarly, to A8, the A17 tenant spaces will be completed to an unfinished level, leaving the spaces for tenants to complete their improvements and furnishings.  Around the building this Contract will build access ramps, stairs, an open courtyard and esplanade in a decorative concrete pattern, signage, and conveyance lighting.  Additionally, a flag display area will be built, with adjacent elevated landscaping beds.
