NOTICE: Milltown Marathon Taking Place at Port of Everett Waterfront April 2, 2023

NOTICE: MILLTOWN MARATHON TAKING PLACE AT PORT OF EVERETT WATERFRONT APRIL 2, 2023:

Please be advised: The Milltown Marathon (formerly called Everett Half Marathon) is returning to the Port of Everett waterfront Sunday, April 2, 2023.

The full marathon starts at 7 a.m. and the half marathon and 10k starts at 8 a.m. The race begins and ends at Jetty Landing Park and parking lot near the Port of Everett’s North Marina and boat launch. The route includes City and WSDOT approved road closures along West Marine View Drive/SR 529, as well as temporary Port road closures along Craftsman Way, 11^th Street and 13^th Street (see below notice on road closures/traffic modifications).

Any road closures/detours will be marked. All waterfront facilities will remain accessible during this time.

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES/TRAFFIC MODIFICATIONS – April 2, 2023:

Please be advised: As part of the Milltown Marathon, the southbound lanes of West Marine View Drive will be closed to traffic from about 8 - 8:15 a.m. (from 18^th Street and WMVD to the SR 529 interchange). The northbound lanes of West Marine View Drive (from 10^th Street and WMVD to the SR 529 interchange) will be closed from about 8:15 - 9 a.m.

Drivers may experience intermittent delays at the entrances of 10^th, 13^th and 18^th Streets & WMVD while runners move along the route.

Note: Highway 529 from Everett to Marysville will be closed from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM

The Port’s 11^th Street (north of the North Docks, south of the boat launch) will be closed during race hours; local access for North Docks slipholders to remain available.
