Notice to Marina Slipholders: 2016 Marina Rules & Regulations, Effective June 1, 2016, Rate Adjustments, Effective June 1, 2016 & July 1, 2016

Updates to the Marina Rules and Regulations, including the Port's Liveaboard Policy will become effective June 1, 2016. Updates to the marina moorage rates will become effective July 1, 2016, all other rates including storage rates and workyard rates will become effective, June 1, 2016. Rate adjustments were based on a thorough review of regional rate comparisons, and represent a modest increase to cover inflation and increases in utility costs.
An overview of the updates include:
- An adjustment to the liveaboard policy to allow liveaboard status on vessels 32-feet and larger (Please note: existing liveaboard status slipholders with boats under 32-feet that are in good standing with marina policies will have an opportunity to apply for continued liveaboard status under a grandfathering provision)
- An increase in moorage, storage and yard rates by approximately 3%
- An increase in moorage rates for the 20-foot size range by 6%, bringing the rate for this size to industry standard
- An adjustment to the common utility fee from $4.46/month to $6/month; this increase reflects the increases imposed by our utility providers for water, sewer and garbage, and is provided as a pass through to slipholders without markup
- A boom truck rate increase from $180/hour to $200/hour
- A liveaboard fee adjustment from $85/month to $125/month
- A reduction in fees for North Marina slipholders from $35/month to $20/month; this reduction is related to Port of Everett no longer offering pump-out service; slipholders can conduct pump-out themselves or contract with a local service provide
- Guest moorage rates will remain unchanged in 2016, with an anticipated 6% increase in 2017
